All OOTAMA soaps are made from home grown or locally foraged botanicals. Everything is seasonal. The seeds of each plant are collected, some of which are used in soaps, the rest saved for the next year to start the process again.
The base of these particular autumnal soaps have been made from the juice of foraged blackberries. Once picked these blackberries are transformed into a juice used instead of water in the soap making process. Blackberries contain many vitamins which nourish the skin. These homemade soaps work best and last longer if dried out completely between uses - that’s why it’s great to have a couple on the go at once!
