All OOTAMA soaps are made from home grown or locally foraged botanicals. Everything is seasonal. The seeds of each plant are collected, some of which are used in soaps, the rest saved for the next year to start the process again.
We are very excited to launch our new range of soaps made with locally brewed beer from the Long Man Brewery! Each soap variety represents the different flavours in the various Long Man Beers: blackcurrant, lemon and barley, citrus orange, honey and wheat, hops and coffee.
As well as using local produce, there are many other benefits from adding beer to our soaps. The hops and barley from which the beer is made contains vitamins and antioxidants that cleanse and hydrate skin. And the additional ingredients we use to mimic the beers themselves are also great for your skin, some act as a gentle exfoliation, whilst others add further nourishment.
