Summer Meadowsweet Soaps
All ootama soaps are made from home grown or locally foraged botanicals. Everything is seasonal.
 
The seeds of each plant are collected, some of which are used in soaps, the rest saved for the next year to start the process again.
 
The base of these particular spring soaps have been made from foraged meadowsweet. The flowers are made into a fragrant meadowsweet fizz and it is this luxurious liquid that is used as a base to these soaps. Meadowsweet is a natural anti-inflammatory and can help to reduce redness and sooth skin.
 
These homemade soaps work best and last longer if dried out completely between uses - that’s why it’s great to have a couple on the go at once!
